Thirty Six Students of M.E (Construction Engineering & Management) had participated in this session.

A Brain Storming session on “Review of Dissertation Themes and Titles” was conducted by Dr. S. M. Yadav, Professor and Section Head (Water Resources Engineering), Civil Engineering Department, SVNIT-Surat, on 16th Sep 2015. All final year ME students had participated interactively during this session. Session was accompanied by P.G dissertation guides and Co-guides.

An expert Lecture by Prof. Sharad Patel, Retired Lecturer, was organized by P.G Section with titled, theme “General Management Principles” on 19th July, 2016, Tuesday. This lecture was attended by staff members and total 35 students of final year Master of Engineering [Civil- Construction Engineering and Management (18) & Mechanical- Production Engineering (17)] with enthusiasm and involvement.An expert has covered many important topics like Basic management Concepts, Management Principle, Application and implementation of management principle on field practice.

Students of M. E. Construction Engineering & Management Visited Newly Constructed Bridge on Narmada River Bharuch, On 30th January 2017. Total 31 students from first and second year along with a faculty, Prof. Rushabh. Site Engineer of L & T has explained various Structural Details and Project Management Concepts of the Bridge. This Visit will be helpful in Increasing the Project Management Fundamentals for Students.

Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre, Umrakh had visited and witnessed a launch event of Immersed Technology in Construction Management on 13/09/2018 at Performing Art Centre, Surat; along withthe faculty members Prof. Rushabh Shah and Prof. BhavinKashiyani.

Section of Civil Engineering department has organized a one day visit on 13/10/2018 at world’s largest diamond hub “The Surat Diamond Bourse”, Dream City, Behind Surat International Exhibition & Convention Centre, Surat for the students of ME 1st Semester & 3rd Semester. Total 24 students along with faculties Prof. Bhavin Kashiyani & Prof. Neetu Yadav has visited the Site. With an initiative to improve the managerial & technical skills of future Construction Managers of S. N. Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre, Umrakh, M.E. Section of Civil Engineering department had organized a one day visit on 10/10/2018, for the students of ME 1st Semester. Total 12 students had visited the construction site at LaxmipatiSachin G.I.D.C., Surat.
