Industrial visit - Vikram Sarabhai Space Exhibition (VSSE), Space Applications Centre, ISRO-Ahmedabad (VSSE, SAC, ISRO) (03/11/2023)

One-day industrial visit was organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Department of Information Technology, SNPITRC (Umrakh) for the students of BE 3rd, 5th & 7th Semester on 3rd November, 2023. They visited “VSSE, SAC, ISRO” at Ahmedabad. 102 Students and 8 faculty members visited the center. The visit includes 3-D documentary shoot by Astronauts’ in space, brief session on Mangalyan, Chandrayan & Suryayan, simulation on GSLV (Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle) and PSLV- (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle). The volunteers have given an insight of ASLV-which was the first launcher made under the supervision of Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. Students were fascinated by checking the details of PSLV- (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle). The team ISRO explained & discussed the real time Satellite
with Demo.

ONE-DAY Industrial Visit was organized by the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Department of Information Technology, SNPITRC (Umrakh) for the students of BE 3rd, 5th & 7th Semester on 2nd November 2023. They visited “IPR” at Gandhinagar. 102 Students and 8 faculty members visited the industry. The visit made students aware about plasma science including basic plasma physics, magnetically confined hot plasmas and plasma technologies for industrial application, computer modeling, superconducting magnets and cryogenics, ultra-high vacuum, pulsed power, microwave and RF, computer-based control and data acquisition and industrial, environmental and strategic plasma applications.

Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre (SNPIT&RC), Umrakh organized an Expert session on "Data Analytics" by Mr. Raj Yadav, Sr. Technical Trainer from TOPS Technologies on 15th March 2023 for sem-6 students. The students got a thorough knowledge of various topics in data analytics, tools to be used in Data Analytics, demonstrated hands-on practicals showing how to perform pre-processing data using the different platforms in python and pandas, and also discussed the career in Data Analytics. Various questions by students and satisfactorily answered by the experts.

CSE department, S. N. Patel Institute of Technology & Research Centre, Snpitrc Umrakh organised an Expert session on "Overseas Prospects after Graduation" by Mr.Devesh H. Sitaram and Dr. Sneha S. Patel on 24/2/2023 for sem-6 CSE, SNPITRC, Umrakh students. The main objective of the session is to interact live with the students aspiring to go abroad (especially USA) regarding various aspects of surviving well during their stay. Various Questions by students on financial, social and general life at USA are satisfactorily answered by the experts.

Computer Science and Engineering Department along with T & P cell of institute organised a program on Awareness of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) on 9th Feb 2023 which is an initiative of National Intellectual Property Awareness Miss (NIPAM), Government of India. This program will be under the banner of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Objective of the program was the students would be exposed to different types if IPRs and they would be enlightened and motivated to convert their ideas into innovation and further transformation into IP assests through protection of their IP rights. The Expert of the seminar was Mr. Amot ravindra Patil (NIPAM Officer).

The purpose behind organizing this workshop was to give basic knowledge about computer usage. This workshop had covered the topics such as Microsoft Office 2007 (Word, Power Point, Excel), Surfing on Internet, Windows XP Installation, and Maintenance of Personal Computer. More than 40 faculties have participated in this workshop.
