SNPITRC celebrated Graduation Day on 5th June 2024.More than Ninety final year students gathered to celebrate the occasion. It was a momentous occasion, marking the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. It was a day filled with joy, pride, and reflection as students don their caps and gowns symbolizing the successful completion of their academic journey. The ceremony is not only a celebration of individual achievements but also a collective acknowledgment of the support from family, friends, and faculty.

Workshop on Introduction of Virtual Lab on 10th May 2024
|
|
The workshop conducted by IIT, Kanpur, served as a valuable platform for disseminating information about the Virtual Lab initiative and fostering a collaborative dialogue among faculties towards its implementation. It is anticipated that the insights gained from the workshop will catalyze the adoption of Virtual Lab, contributing to the advancement of educational practices within our department. 5 of our faculties together with other department faculties participated in the workshop.Participants gained a thorough understanding of the Virtual Lab initiative and its potential to revolutionize teaching, learning, and assessment processes.

Industrial Visit to “GSECL, Utran, 24th April 2024

On April 24th, 2024, the Sixth-semester students of our institution embarked on an industrial visit to GSECL, Utran. 40 students and 3 staff members participated in the visit. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into industrial operations, enhance their understanding of theoretical concepts, and expose them to real-world applications.

The visit to the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) plant at Utran was organised on 9th April 2024 for 2nd year students. 70 students and 2 faculty members participated in the visit. The visit to GSECL, Utran, was both informative and enlightening, offering participants a glimpse into the intricate workings of a modern power generation facility.

Technokruti 2k24-A National Level Techfest

|
|
Technokruti 2k24, a national-level technical festival, took place on the 5th and 6th of April 2024 ,the event aimed to celebrate innovation, creativity, and technological prowess. One of the key highlights of the festival was the participation of various departments, including Sparkonix, by our Department which organized a series of engaging events like Poster and Model Presentation, Circuit Mania, Buzz Off, Elctro Quiz, Laser Mazz & Clash of Clans. As the curtains close on another successful edition of Technokruti, participants depart with newfound inspiration and enthusiasm,making it a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.

Industrial Visit to Hema Automation, Sachin on March 27,2024 2024

On March 27, 2024, the fourth-semester students of our Department embarked on an industrial visit to Hema Automation located in Sachin. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into industrial operations, enhance their understanding of theoretical concepts, and expose them to real-world applications. 42 students from the fourth semester and Two faculty members participated.

Workshop for visiting Diploma Engineering students 2024

On March 2nd, 2024, a one day Workshop titled "Empowering Futures: Navigating the Realm of Switch gear and Protection" was organized for visiting Diploma Engineering students from J H Desai Polytechnic. Professor Achal B Mistry led the theoretical session, followed by Professor Janak B Patel who conducted the hands-on session. The seminar provided invaluable insights and practical experience, leaving a positive impact on the visiting students.

On February 22, 2024, third-year students had the privilege to attend a seminar organized by the Training & Placement Cell. The seminar focused on AI-Sakshyam, an awareness program initiated by Microsoft in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).The primary objective of the seminar was to acquaint students with the AI-Sakshyam program, its significance in the industry, and the opportunities it presents in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

The department conducted a pedagogy session at B-29 from 1 PM on wards on Dt. 5/8/2023. From our department newly recruited Ms. Kinjal H. Chaudhari delivered lecture in the session. The attendees of the session were faculties, H.O.D and Principal Sir. New faculties got to learn teaching learning process from senior faculties. It was a good eventful session.

Private Ltd., Surat visited our campus for the placement and on this single day more than 65 students got placed with the company. 20 students from Electrical Engineering Department got selected. The average remuneration package was 3 Lac per Annum.

Program on Awareness of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs)

Electrical Engineering Department along with T & P cell , organised a program on Awareness of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) on 9/02/ 2023, which is an initiative by National Intellectual Property Awareness Mission (NIPAM), Government of India. This program was under the banner of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Objective of the program was to educate the students about what is IPR, why and how it is protected.Knowledge of different types of IPRs would motivate students to convert their ideas into innovation and further transformation into IP assets through protection of their IP rights. The Expert of the seminar was Mr. Amot Ravindra Patil (NIPAM Officer), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt.of India.
