The Department of Mechanical Engineering of SNPIT&RC, Umrakh has organized an expert speech on “SolidWorks- CAD & Assembly modeling”. The speakers were Mr. Keyurbhai Chavda: Education Manager and Mr. Harshit Patel : Director & Sr. Application Engineer SOPAN Institute Pvt. Ltd., Surat. The aim was to provide demonstration to the students on the aspects of doing performance work on open source and scientific tool. This seminar targeted those students who were not at all familiar with advance 3D modeling commands and Analysis tools.

Mechanical Engineering Department of S.N.P.I.T. & R.C., Umrakh arranged an industrial visit to Vrindavan Industries, Sachin, Surat on 2nd March 2024 with 25 students of 6th sem Mechanical Engineering. The purpose of the visit was to enhance industrial exposure of the students, get practical knowledge of manufacturing procedures. Our faculty coordinator Mr. Milan R. Patel took part in prestigious industrial visit.
