Electrical Measurement Lab
The Objective behind this laboratory is to understand the correct function of electrical parameters and calibration of voltage, current, single phase and three phase power and energy, and measurement of electrical characteristics of resistance, inductance and capacitance of a circuits through appropriate methods.

Electrical Circuits and Network Lab
The objective of the Electrical Circuits And Network lab is to expose the students to the of electrical circuits and give them experimental skill. The purpose of lab experiment is to continue to build circuit construction skills using different circuit element. It also aims to introduce MATLAB a circuit simulation software tool. It enables the students to gain sufficient knowledge on the programming and simulation of Electrical circuits.

Control System Engineering Lab
The objective behind this laboratory is to 1. Characterize closed-loop stability in a feedback control system model. 2. Characterize performance objectives for transient and steady-state improvement. 3. Characterize the disturbance rejection problem in feedback control systems. 4. Determine the sensitivity of the closed-loop system to parameter variations.

Electrical Machines Lab
The Objective behind this Lab is to enable, train and evaluate the ability of the students to perform the analysis of any machine system. To empower students to determine the parameters of AC, DC machines and transformers by performing experiments on these machines. To enable students to identify and solve AC, DC machine and Transformer related problems. The ability to select a suitable measuring instrument for a given application.

Basics of Electrical Engineering Lab
The Objective behind this Lab is to Impart a basic knowledge of electrical quantities such as current, voltage, power, energy and frequency to understand the impact of technology in a global and societal context. Provide working knowledge for the analysis of basic DC and AC circuits used in electrical and electronic devices. To explain the working principle, construction, applications of DC machines, AC machines & measuring instruments.

Power Electronics Lab
The lab aims at imparting practical knowledge of Power Electronics to the students at various levels & To provide a practical exposure to operating principles, design and synthesis of different power electronic converters. It is accordingly well equipped with equipment’s and trainer kits to teach practical from fundamentals to high level concepts to the students.Learn the characteristics of different types of power electronic device understand and analyze the operation of controlled rectifiers, choppers & inverters. Now a days the experiments are done on computer using open source software and simulation.

High Voltage Engineering Lab
The High Voltage Laboratory can be used for high voltage testing of all types of electrical insulation systems. The High Voltage Laboratory has state-of-the-art equipment that can be used in the testing of materials and the study of different HV phenomena. The high number of MWB HV modules allows designing high-level detailed setups that can be used for experiments with fundamental HV theories. This is essential for students as HV engineering in nature is an experimentally based science. The theory should be taught and practical should be carried out in such a manner that students are able to acquire different learning outcomes in cognitive, psychomotor and affective domain to demonstrate following course outcomes. i. Evaluate high voltage generation of AC, DC and Impulse in the laboratory. ii. Demonstrate the various techniques for measurement of high voltage AC, DC and Impulse. iii. Analyse the breakdown phenomenon in gases, liquids and solid insulators. iv. Apply the principles of insulation coordination on high voltage and extra high voltage power systems.

Power System Protection Lab
The Objective behind this Lab is to help the students to attain the industry identified competency through various teaching learning experience. They are also required to carry out remedial measures for faults/abnormalities in machines/equipment in power system using appropriate diagnostic instrument/devices. The theory should be taught and practical should be carried out in such a manner that students are able to acquire different learning outcomes in cognitive, psychomotor and affective domain to demonstrate following course outcomes. i. Identify various types of faults in Power system ii. Explain working of different types of circuit breakers in power system. iii. Explain working of different types of relays in power system. iv. Maintain the protection of transmission line and feeder from various faults v. Protect transformer, alternator, motor and bus bar vi. Protect power system against over voltages
