Innovative Idea award Student of Mechanical Engineering Department Mitesh Agrawal, was awarded for the “Content Writing and Documentation” as well as “SSIP and Idea Innovation” from GIC (GTU INNOVATION COUNCIL) at Ahmedabad on 27th September 2018 and He was also got the Prize Winning Money for the Innovative Idea (Heart Watch).

Essay competition Students of Mechanical Engineering Department Krishna Panchal and Mitesh Agrawal were secured top position in “All India Essay Competition”.

Rocket launching Students of Mechanical Engineering Department Nived Hareesh and Sitanshu Pandya was working on a rocket with payload (satellite) fetching real time data was successfully Launched first rocket during their research with STAR group, Surat.

Khel Mahakumbh 2015 Student of Mechanical Engineering Department Yash Pandya has won two “Bronze Medals” in All over Gujarat Roller Skating Championship 2015.

ISTE Best Project Award Students of Final Year Mechanical Engineering Department Hiren M. Patel and krunal R. Gandhi has got the ISTE Best project national Award entitled with "Pipe Inspection Robot" in the category of "Sustainable Development (Mechanical and Production Engineering)" for during the year 2014-2015.

ISTE best project award Students of Final Year Mechanical Engineering Department Jenishkumar Patel and Jaykumar Patel have received National Award for the Best B.Tech project entitled with “Design & development of rice transplanter machine” guided Prof. Vishal Z. Dhimmar at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering college Fatehgarh sahib, Punjab National Award under the banner of ISTE, New Delhi 2015-16.

Skating championship Student of Mechanical Engineering Department Yash Pandya has won Two gold medals in “Khel Mahakumbh 2015” as well as Two gold medals in “Khel Mahakumbh 2016” in skating Compitition.

Campus placement As in campus selection, 3 students were selected in L&T, 9 students were selected in HLE, Maroli, 11 students were selected in Himson and 2 students were selected in Irfan Modi Corporation Ltd, Surat.

NOVA Laboratory Student of Final Year Mechanical Engineering Department Nived Hareesh was awarded for devlopment of World’s Smallest and Lightest Satellite of 29 grams which satellite was be launched from Ukraine through Endogenous Aerospace Pvt Ltd. and he was also developed the Incubation centre and working as a CEO of NOVA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.

ISTE Best Student Award Student of Final Year Mechanical Engineering Department Manish Issrani was selected for the “ISTE Best Student Award” consecutively three times in the year 2009, 2010, 2011 by IndianSociety for Technical Education (ISTE) , New Delhi and also selected for “Prime Minister’s scholarship” for consecutively three years in 2009, 2010, 2011 by Dr. Manmohan Singh, prime minister of India.
